Woodcarving in Guangzhou is one of the traditional carving techniques, which, together with the woodcarving in Beijing and Jiangsu, constitute the three major schools of Chinese woodcarving art. Liu Baihao and his son Liu Xihua are both inheritors of woodcarving in Guangzhou, which is listed as an intangible cultural heritage. Their innovation in heritage hasmadeit more and more popular in families.
