汕头市濠江区，三江出海口，屹立着一座全国罕见、保存较为完好的“袖珍”古城——达濠古城。

古城面积仅为1万多平方米，绕古城行走一圈只需10分钟。古城目送一代代濠江乡亲漂洋过海，又在入海口处迎接回乡报效桑梓的华侨。

近年来，濠江区围绕达濠古城打造数条国家级、省级精品旅游路线，加强对达濠古城活化利用。路线吸引了一批批海内外游客参观游览，古城背后所蕴含着的“侨”元素和华侨文化，正被越来越多的人所认可，成为连接海外华侨的“连心城”。（云上岭南）

Dahao Ancient City: A witness to the past of overseas Chinese

#TheGreatBeautyofGuangdong Haojiang District of Shantou City stands on the estuary of the three rivers. The district has a rare and well-preserved “pocket” age-old city called Dahao Ancient City.

With an area of just over 10,000 square meters, it only takes 10 minutes to walk around the ancient city. It witnessed generations of Haojiang residents going abroad and welcomed overseas Chinese returning to serve their hometown.

In recent years, Haojiang District has built several national and provincial boutique tourist routes around the ancient city of Dahao and strengthened its utilization. The route has attracted many tourists from home and abroad.

The “Overseas Chinese” element and culture behind the ancient city are being recognized by more and more people, and the city is becoming a “heart-to-heart place” connecting overseas Chinese.
